For letterboxes that are supplied with studs they are fitted as follows.  Fit to the wall or pillar by drilling four hole in your brickwork that match the position of the studs supplied with the letterbox, you then apply some resin bond in the holes and push the letterbox with the studs attached, firmly into position and hold or secure until the adhesive has bonded.
